Pam Peterson
REV. PAMELA J PETERSON, MDIV, FDC, ABCD AND MAYBE SOMEDAY A PHD! (PASTOR PAM, MOM, GRAMMA, SISTER, DAUGHTER, AUNT AND ADVENTUROUS FRIEND!)
“Pastor Pam” as she is called by many, is originally from Mayville, NY, a quaint village an hour south of Buffalo, NY, in the truest of true snowbelts of the world. Ordained in the United Church of Christ tradition, Pam is passionate about truth, humor and life. She has a wide variety of “been there, done that” t-shirts including camp ranger, SCUBA diver, trauma chaplain, mom and most important of all…Gramma! Pam holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a focus in non-profit administration from Empire State College, State University of NY. Her Master of Divinity Degree is from the former Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (now United Lutheran Seminary) and she completed her UCC work at the Lancaster Theological Seminary. After completing her MDiv studies, Pastor Pam completed her Clinical Pastoral Education Residency at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT where she went on to serve as Trauma Chaplain. Returning to parish ministry in the Adirondack Mountains, Pam found herself gaining notable experience in Transitional Ministry, especially in a church with deep seated grief. Following her desire to bring healing to the wounded church, Pam is on the Art of Transitional Ministry faculty at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. With a heart for adventure and an ear for the “nudge” of the Spirit, Pastor Pam is now serving as full time pastor in the Beartooth Mountains of Montana and is studying to become a certified coach through the International Coaching Federation. Using humor and sharing real life stories of grace, Pam brings a message of hope to a broken world.
